Charles was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana and has resided in Las Vegas for the past 15 years. Charles grew up in a very musical home so it comes as no surprise that he has become such an accomplished musician, singer and dancer. Charles’ father was a jazz player, while his mother sang gospel, jazz and classical music. While all his brothers and sisters are musicians, Charles himself plays keyboards, drums, bass guitar, saxophone and the flute.

While going to school in Indiana, a mutual friend introduced Charles to Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds. Having so much in common musically, the two hit it off right away and formed the group “Tarnished Silver” followed by a second group called “Man Child”. In the early eighties Dantil Woodruff formed the group “The Deele” along with Babyface and for the next four years Charles toured and performed with “The Deele”.

Following “The Deele” Charles relocated to Florida where he contracted with The DeBartolo Corporation. Owning several shopping malls throughout the country, Charles was able to tour the U.S. performing at the DeBartolo properties with “Hollywood on Tour” with his tribute to Stevie Wonder.

Over he past several years Charles has had the pleasure of performing with some of the best musical groups in Las Vegas, including five years with the group v51 at the Rio Hotel & Casino. In 2010 Charles joined In-A-Fect where he plays keyboards, sings and steps along with the rest of the band.
